Thank you for choosing The Loft Violin Shop. We trust you have had a wonderful experience in orchestra. There are 3 basic ways for you to return your instrument:
The best and most secure method of return is to simply return your instrument to our shop and we will terminate your account. We will issue a receipt and let you know if you are eligible for a refund.
If you are outside our central Ohio region, you may check with your orchestra director to determine if you are able to return the instrument to them. If that is permissible to the director, please make sure there is a note INSIDE the case with your name, address and phone number with a note that designates "RETURN". Follow up with a call or email to The Loft so we will know to look for your instrument at school.
You may also return via parcel post. Please put a note inside the case that has your name, address and phone as well as "RETURN" so we can process your account correctly. Safely place the instrument, case and bow in a well packaged box and send it back to The Loft. Some type of delivery confirmation is suggested.

We occasionally visit our distant school partners like Boardman, Canterbury (Ft Wayne, IN), Elyria and Charleston, WV. Check with us or your director to find out our next visit.
Remember, your rental contract is with The Loft and not the school, teacher, etc. If you let us know of your intent to return the instrument to school or other, we can be on the lookout and facilitate the process.
If you return by parcel post, please pack carefully; it is recommended you get a confirmation receipt. Make sure your name, address and contact information are clearly included.
